T.I.'s Road to Redemption
This MTV series is a true life account of a rapper who was arrested for illegal posession of firearms. He went to prison, where he decided to turn his life around. After he was released, T.I. was assigned 1,000 hours of community service. He decided that this time would best be served trying to prevent teens from going down the dangerous path he took. Using his own life experiences to relate to troubled teens, he was able to show them the dangers
of their behavior and the far reaching effect that violence can have. He also found gang members new ways to make friends and release their anger so that they no longer felt the need for violence.

Santos A. Cardona
Ex-Soldier Cardona was an army dog handler who abused Iraqi soldiers at Abu Ghraib. Tormented by regret for these wrongdoings, he felt that he needed to turn his life around and somehow find a way to make up for what he did. He decided that his past experience with using dogs as part of the war effort was a unique skill he could use. So, Cardona traveled to Afghanistan where he and his dog searched for explosives and weapons stockpiles so that they could be removed. In doing so, he knew he was risking his life, but he felt that this sacrifice was a form of repentence.

Limerick

My big question expressed in limerick form (this really didn't turn out to be very funny, but I tried).

After a life of incredible grief,
One might up and search for relief,
Find escape through a sin,
So pain doubles again,
How do they renew their belief?
